Every year in the month of June First Baptist Church Statesboro welcome hundreds of children and workers into our facilities to experience five days of intensive Bible study and celebration of rich, warm Christian fellowship.  Many “new” families will allow their children to participate, learn, and grow in their faith adventure… many becoming followers of Christ for their first time.  (25% of Southern Baptist accept Christ as their Savior during a local church VBS.)  This is a local church mission experience that requires about 200-250 workers.  All our workers are required to take our on-line, child safety protection course, “Safe and Secure,” in order to serve with minors.  This is a “close-to-home” mission project.  Sign-ups will begin in May.
